About Bolangum Hills

Horses run in the veins

Our Background

Bolangum Hills agistment is owned and operated by Greg Baldwin aka ‘Rocky’ fourth generation farmer and his partner Cindy O’Sullivan who comes from a horse racing family. Along with the Baldwin children who work on the farm and staff who help care for the stock and pastures.

With over 40 years’ experience working with thousands of thoroughbreds Greg’s gift is resting and developing racehorse based on their needs. Built on the strength of his father, Owen, a genuine stockman who broke in, breed and worked with horses all his life.

Being a farmer Greg is also skilled at managing pastures and feed, controlling quality is most important for horses on agistment. Bolangum Hills grows their own grain and hay on the farm or sources quality local feed.

Greg and Cindy have had an extraordinary amount of success on the racetrack winning country cups, racing and breeding city winners and group winning horses. Bolangum Hills has agisted many legendary horses including Melbourne Cup winning Prince of Penzance. Great young colts Humidor, Yes Yes Yes, Palentino and Trust in a Gust.

Our Philosophy

Nature, instinct and the will to win

Bolangum Hills carefully monitors horses on the property, the way horses interact with each other and their patterns of behaviour.
